Friends-Chicago awarded $100,000 grant from Impact Grants Chicago

We are excited to announce that we were selected as one of four grantees to receive a $100,000 Impact Grant from Impact Grants Chicago. Impact Grants Chicago is a women’s collective with a rigorous and diligent selection process to find grantees that impact our city. It is an honor to be recognized by them as a change-maker in Chicago.

This grant allows us to enroll 16 kindergarteners into our program this summer. 16 children who will be empowered to achieve their fullest potential through the support and love of a professional mentor for 12.5 years. No Matter What.
